Scottsdale After-School Programs start Aug. 3

The start of the 2022-2023 school year is just around the corner, and so is the time to register for Scottsdale's after-school programs!

Starting Monday, July 25 at 8 a.m., Scottsdale residents can register their child for one of six after-school programs. Registration for opens July 26 at 8 a.m for everyone else.

Programs take place at:

  • Mountain View Community Center  (For grades 1-6, located at 8625 E. Mountain View Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85258)
  • Horizon Community Center  (For grades 1-6, located at 15444 N. 100th St., Scottsdale, AZ 85260)
  • Echo Canyon School (For grades K-6, located on-site at SUSD's Echo Canyon School)
  • Navajo Elementary School (For grades K-5, located on-site at Navajo Elementary School)
  • Tonalea School (For grades K-6, located on-site at Tonalea Elementary School)
  • Hohokam Elementary School  (For grades K-5, located on-site at Hohokam Elementary School)
Scottsdale's trained recreation leaders make each afternoon fun and engaging with daily activities including:

  • Arts & crafts
  • Sports, fitness & games
  • Educational programs
  • Gardening & nutrition
  • Drama
  • Cookouts
  • Homework help
  • Guest speakers
  • Special events
