All 7 Scottsdale City Council candidates in the August 2nd election will appear in person for a forum sponsored by Scottsdale United Methodist Church, the Scottsdale Progress, and the Scottsdale Chamber. The public is invited to attend the 90 minute forum in downtown Scottsdale. Hear the candidates' views on issues of local importance, and submit a question you would like the candidates to answer. Submit your question to info@scottsdalechamber.com no later than May 26th for consideration. Candidates will not see the questions prior to the event. The event will be broadcast live and archived for later viewing (details to come). The candidates running for three seats on the seven member council are incumbents Kathy Littlefield and Solange Whitehead, and newcomers Pamela Carter, Barry Graham, Daniel Ishac, Tim Stratton, and Raoul Zubia. The Scottsdale Progress will be publishing the candidates' answers to its questionnaire starting Sunday, May 27th, as well as online at scottsdale.org. Read a Scottsdale Progress Article about the event in the May 15th edition of the Scottsdale Progress.
