Black Mountain Elementary School issued the following announcement on Dec. 21

These kiddos are why we hope, why we dream, and why we know that there are better days to come.
On Friday, our Gym was turned into a space where each and every Bobcat got to share their hopes and dreams for 2021. Each class took time to walk the luminaries in silence and with respect for their classmates. It was powerful, emotional and simply beautiful.
