BASIS Goodyear Primary: 36 percent of students exceeding academic standards on AIMS test during 2018-19 school year

36 percent of BASIS Goodyear Primary students were classified as "exceeding academic standards" after taking Arizona’s Instrument to Measure Standards - Science (AIMS) test during the 2018-2019 school year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

20 percent of students at the school are failing to meet academic standards.

The AIMS test in Arizona is a standards-based test used to measure a student's proficiency in science, based on the state’s academic standards. The AIMS test is administered three times with students taking the test in the fourth grade, eighth grade, and one more time in high school.
