Online platform WeTravel announced that it will create more than 100 jobs coming up in the next three years in Scottsdale. WeTravel focuses on helping other smaller travel companies collect payments, manage their books, and invoice to suppliers.
Currently, WeTravel is hiring customer support representatives and account executives in the Scottsdale area. Since it has more than 1,200 different travel agencies using its platforms, it is in need of candidates for these positions.
The company ultimately selected Scottsdale over other markets like Salt Lake City, Utah; Atlanta, Georgia; or Denver, Colorado due to the availability of talent in the region, the cost of doing business there, and the availability of vital resources, according to a release.
"Economic opportunity will continue to flourish for the city of Scottsdale with companies like WeTravel choosing to grow their business in our region," Rob Millar, Scottsdale's director of economic development, said in the release. "Their diverse and motivated team will make a great addition to the thriving business community here in Scottsdale.”
