The Women’s Collective will hold its Elevating Women 2026 Event on April 10, featuring a keynote presentation by Carla Howard, owner of The Speakers Connection, according to an announcement made March 9. The event aims to help participants address and overcome negative internal dialogue that can impact personal and professional growth.

This topic is significant as it addresses the challenges many women face with self-doubt and the inner critic, which can affect their ability to pursue goals and leadership opportunities. The event is designed to provide practical tools for building confidence and courage.

Howard’s keynote, titled “Is Your Inner Critic Designing Your Future?”, will introduce attendees to a three-step process intended to help them become braver, dream bigger, and find more joy in life. In addition to the keynote, the program includes roundtable mentoring sessions and a panel discussion called “Courage in Action,” where real-life examples of making bold decisions will be shared.

Chairwoman Kira Peters said, “The Women’s Collective’s mission is to inspire and elevate women leaders. We want to provide more women with the skills, confidence and courage to gain a seat at the leadership table.”

Registration for the event costs $50 and includes breakfast and lunch. The deadline for registration is April 1. More information about registration can be found at www.the-wc.org/elevating-women-event.
