Mark Driscoll, senior and founding pastor of Trinity Church in Scottsdale, Arizona, said that gubernatorial candidate Karrin Taylor Robson attended a service to pray with the congregation and discuss the future of the state. This statement was made in a post on X.
“Thank you to the next Governor of AZ Karrin Taylor Robson for joining us at Trinity Church, & talking about the future of our great state & praying with us,” said Driscoll, Senior & Founding Pastor.
Driscoll is the senior and founding pastor of Trinity Church in Scottsdale, Arizona, a nondenominational Christian ministry he launched with his wife Grace in 2016. Before that, he founded Mars Hill Church in Seattle, which grew to over 12,000 attendees across 15 campuses.
Robson is a business executive and former member of the Arizona Board of Regents who ran in the 2022 Republican gubernatorial primary. Her campaign emphasized economic growth, border security, and support for faith-based community engagement.
According to the Arizona Office of Tourism, faith-based gatherings and conferences contribute more than $300 million annually to the state’s visitor economy. This reflects a strong overlap between religious engagement and civic participation.
