Have you ever wanted to work in clay? Come try on a Friday morning and contribute your talents. The goal is to provide an opportunity for our community to make artistic ceramic bowls to be sold at the Foothills Foodbanks annual fundraiser “Empty Bowls Big heArts” on October 14.
We will encourage slumping and draping using available forms and incorporating surface design in the clay, with imprint, incise, or applique.
The bowls will be built, bisque fired and glazed as a group effort. Donations are accepted to help cover the cost of clay, glaze and firing.
