Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky announced on May 8 that she will host her next town hall from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, at the Granite Reef Senior Center.

The event is open to all Scottsdale residents and neighborhood leaders who wish to engage directly with the mayor about city services, quality-of-life issues, and the future of Scottsdale. The Granite Reef Senior Center is located at 1700 N. Granite Reef Road.

The town hall aims to foster an open environment where attendees can ask questions, raise concerns, and share ideas in a respectful conversation with Borowsky. “Town halls are an important way for us to connect directly with residents and have open, respectful conversations about the future of our city,” Borowsky said. “I look forward to hearing from the community and continuing to work together on the issues that matter most to Scottsdale.”

Borowsky has supported community service initiatives for children, older adults, and underprivileged youth through board roles; she also served as mayor of Scottsdale after a term on the City Council from 2008 to 2012 where she advocated for fiscal conservatism and budget improvements; throughout her career she has maintained lifelong residency in Scottsdale; these details are according to the official website.

The mayor’s office in Scottsdale has emphasized resident engagement through regular updates and reports over time according to the official website. The Granite Reef Senior Center serves as a hub for active adults in central Scottsdale and regularly hosts civic events.

Seating may be limited at this upcoming event, so guests are encouraged by organizers to arrive early.
