Desert Foothills Land Trust, in collaboration with PHX Beer Co, will host an educational event titled “Rattlesnakes: Fact and Fiction” on August 27th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at PHX Beer Co in Scottsdale. The event is free and open to the public.

Bryan Hughes, owner of Rattlesnake Solutions, will lead the presentation. Hughes aims to clarify misconceptions about rattlesnakes and provide a safe environment for attendees to view live snakes. “Few animals generate as much mythology and misinformation as rattlesnakes,” said Hughes.

The presentation seeks to replace fear with understanding by offering insights into the behavior and habitat of Arizona’s native species. Attendees will learn about the ecological role of rattlesnakes in the desert ecosystem.

PHX Beer Co President Steve Robbins expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, “We’re thrilled to partner once again with our friends at Desert Foothills Land Trust.”

Desert Foothills Land Trust focuses on conserving land and species in Arizona’s Sonoran Desert. The nonprofit has protected nearly 1,100 acres across 29 preserves.

PHX Beer Co was established by local entrepreneurs to boost Phoenix’s craft beer scene. They operate a brewery, taproom, and restaurants in downtown Phoenix.
