Scottsdale Civic Center will host two major events in November: the Dreamy Draw Music Festival and Every Woman’s Marathon. These events are expected to bring increased activity, temporary closures, and adjusted access in Old Town Scottsdale.

The Dreamy Draw Music Festival will highlight Arizona’s country and Americana music scene with performances by local and national artists. The festival is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 7 from 3-11 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 8 from 1-11 p.m., utilizing all three stages at the Civic Center as well as Scottsdale Stadium.

During the festival weekend, the second level of the Civic Center Library parking garage will be used as a pedestrian walkway between the Civic Center and stadium. The garage remains open for library patrons, city staff, and nearby businesses, but visitors should expect more foot traffic and temporary signage.

Every Woman’s Marathon is a national event focused on women’s wellness and community. The pre-race expo runs from 2-6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, and from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15. The marathon itself takes place Sunday, Nov. 16 from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m., with only registered runners and their guests allowed in event areas. The course mainly follows the Indian Bend Wash Greenbelt through north Scottsdale intersections where safety personnel will manage traffic; it exits at McDowell Road.

Drivers near the race route should anticipate delays due to street impacts throughout Sunday morning and early afternoon; alternate routes are recommended for smoother travel during this time period. More information about the race route and closure schedule can be found at runsignup.com/w/community.

To maintain east-west pedestrian access across northern portions of Civic Center while ensuring continued City Hall access, fencing adjustments will occur from Nov. 10–12 before full fencing returns ahead of marathon preparations by end of day Nov. 12.

Parking along 75th Street behind the East Bowl stage will be closed for event vehicles and equipment during both events. Full public access to Civic Center resumes Monday, Nov. 17.

Residents, visitors, and businesses in Old Town are advised to plan ahead for parking changes or delays during these dates.
