The Scottsdale Chorus announced on Mar. 30 that it is searching for a new weekly rehearsal space to rent, as the group must leave its current location by August 1 or sooner because of upcoming building renovations.

The chorus, which describes itself as a local competitive all-women’s group and a non-profit organization, said it has been in its present facility for the past 28 years. The group is seeking a carpeted room measuring at least 65 by 40 feet with ceilings over 11 feet high and some storage space for risers. Those with information about suitable facilities are asked to contact Patti at azagent.sampson@gmail.com or Leslie Yancoskie at ldyancoskie@gmail.com.

“If you know of any facilities that could accommodate us… please contact Patti at azagent.sampson@gmail.com or Leslie Yancoskie at ldyancoskie@gmail.com,” the announcement said. “Thank you for helping us out… we have to move by August 1st or sooner!”

The search comes as part of broader efforts in the region to support community organizations and promote inclusive business environments, according to the official website of the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce. The chamber focuses on advancing community prosperity through advocacy and business development initiatives according to its official website.

Operating within the Scottsdale region, the chamber advocates for pro-business policies at city, county, and state levels according to its official website. It also engages in collaborative efforts such as participation in the East Valley Chamber of Commerce Alliance for advocacy purposes according to its official website. Additionally, members can access resources like networking opportunities and professional development through chamber programs as stated on its official site.
