Rep. Joseph Chaplik, a Republican and current Arizona State House member for the 3rd District, used his social media account on February 17, 2026, to encourage constituents to support his congressional campaign and to share an official statement regarding alleged misconduct within a local school district.

In a post published at 14:48 UTC, Chaplik addressed eligible voters in several Arizona communities: “You can help my campaign for Congress in just 2 minutes and it’s free.

Those in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Ftn. Hills, Carefree, Cave Creek, Rio Verde + parts of North PHX are eligible https://t.co/5IYTTjNRLL

One minute later, he followed up with another message providing direct access to his campaign materials: “Link to sign online https://t.co/WkU7UAX0xL https://t.co/2JVfFcxAme” (February 17, 2026).

Later that day at 15:15 UTC, Chaplik published a statement originally prepared for local news outlet 12 News concerning allegations within the communications department of Scottsdale Unified School District. He wrote: “I issued a statement to @12news (which went unused) about the alleged human trafficking going on in the Comms Dept at @ScottsdaleUSD.

I am publishing it here so that the public understands the danger of incompetent leadership:

‘This type of corruption is why I called for the'”

Chaplik was elected to represent Arizona’s 3rd House District in 2023 after replacing former state representative Andres Cano. His recent posts reflect ongoing efforts both to mobilize supporters for his congressional bid and address concerns related to local governance.
