On May 19, 2026, Chaplik shared polling results indicating a significant lead in the Republican primary race. He wrote, “NEW POLL: Chaplik holds a COMMANDING 20-point lead

Our campaign is dominating the primary with a 20-point lead with likely Republican primary voters and a 31-point lead on the informed ballot!

The following day, on May 20, Chaplik posted a tweet containing only a link: “https://t.co/jg6jXTt13S”.
