Rep. Joseph Chaplik, a Republican member of the Arizona House of Representatives for the 3rd District since 2023, has used his social media platform to highlight legislative achievements and critique state leadership in recent days.
On January 16, 2026, Chaplik posted about his efforts on tax policy: “From day one as a member of the @AZHouseGOP, I have fought for and won battles for Arizonans to deliver major tax breaks to everybody. Today it was my honor to vote for lower taxes in AZ to match President Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill. $1.1 Billion in tax savings.”
Later that same day, Chaplik criticized Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs following her State of the State speech. He wrote on January 16, 2026: “It took less than 4 days for Katie Hobbs to prove what we all knew. She was lying in her State of the State speech and she doesn’t care about making Arizona affordable again. Nothing good can happen when you put unqualified people in positions of power. AZ deserves better.”
The following day, January 17, 2026, Chaplik expressed gratitude toward a local political group: “I cannot thank the Fountain Hills Republican Women of the Hills enough for all the support over the years. It was great to give an update on my run for Congress and answer questions this week. Thank you for your support and all your hard work for conservatism in Fountain Hills.”
Chaplik began serving in the Arizona State House after being elected in 2023 to represent District 3, succeeding Andres Cano.
