Rep. Joseph Chaplik, a Republican elected to the Arizona State House in 2023 to represent the state’s 3rd House District, has recently shared updates on his campaign for Congress and legislative record through a series of posts on social media.
On March 25, 2026, Chaplik announced an endorsement from Paul Reevs, stating: ” Endorsement Alert
I am very honored that Paul Reevs has endorsed my campaign for Congress after suspending his campaign in CD1.
Paul is a respected former Border Patrol Agent and has trained countless law enforcement agents in our state.”
Two days later, on March 27, 2026, Chaplik highlighted support from a local official with another post: ” Endorsement Alert
Scottsdale City Council member @BarrySGraham is showing huge support by endorsing my campaign for Congress.
Thank you Barry for fighting for our residents and lending your support to help us win in CD1.”
Between these endorsements, on March 26, 2026, Chaplik addressed public health policy in Arizona by referencing his legislative actions during the COVID-19 pandemic: “While the COVID scare-mongers are trying to bring it back (search it up), remember that my bill in 2021 eliminated mask mandates in businesses for good in AZ.
Thank you to all the brave folks like @GarretLewis who helped stop the COVID insanity in AZ by speaking up.”
Chaplik began serving as a state representative following his election in 2023. He succeeded Andres Cano as representative of Arizona’s 3rd House District. His recent statements come as he seeks broader political support while running for Congress.
