Rep. Joseph Chaplik, a Republican representing Arizona’s 3rd House District since 2023, recently shared several updates on his Twitter account regarding his campaign and ongoing primary race.

On May 5, 2026, Chaplik announced an endorsement from a local media figure, stating: ” Endorsement Alert Proud to announce the endorsement of Garret Lewis, host of ‘The Afternoon Addiction’ on 550 AM in Phoenix. @GarretLewis has been a huge and effective voice for conservatives throughout the entire state and we are thrilled to have his support.”

The following day, Chaplik criticized political opponent Jay Feely over development issues in Arizona: “Carpetbagging Democrat Jay Feely just came out and said he wants to make it easier to build massive, ugly DATA CENTERS in Arizona which means he wants them in OUR DISTRICT. Easy for him to say because he doesn’t live here! NO THANK YOU! I have a history of fighting for the” (May 6, 2026).

Later that same day, Chaplik commented on the tone of the primary contest: “We are winning this primary, and last night, Jay Feely spent the evening acting like the Democrat he is, attacking me and Mr. Trobough with false statements hoping for a lift into second place. I decided my time was better spent talking to my voters rather than to a leftist” (May 6, 2026).

Chaplik has served as representative for Arizona’s 3rd House District since succeeding Andres Cano in 2023.
