Rep. Joseph Chaplik, a Republican and current member of the Arizona State House representing the state’s 3rd House District, posted several statements on his social media account in March 2026 regarding his congressional campaign and criticism of Democratic lawmakers.

On March 19, 2026, Chaplik announced the submission of signatures for his congressional ballot access, stating: ” On the ballot for Congress

Today I submitted my signatures to get on the ballot with well over 70% of the minimum amount coming on E-qual.

Thank you to everyone who signed online and the nearly 2,000 who did so on paper.

Honored to have your support and your vote as the”.

The following day, March 20, Chaplik criticized Democratic members of Congress in a post that read: “This is the aim of the obstructionist Democrats in Congress – They want the chaos. They cause the chaos. Then they attempt to blame it on Republicans.

They can’t hide their hatred for Americans.”

Later that same day, he continued his critique by addressing travel disruptions at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), writing: “The Democrats in D.C. want to make this the new normal.

Ruining your vacation plans and causing chaos for business travelers is part of taking full control over travel in our country.

America Last is their new slogan.

To everyone being affected at PHX today – I will not”.

Chaplik was elected to Arizona’s State House in 2023 after replacing former state representative Andres Cano. As a Republican lawmaker now seeking higher office, Chaplik’s recent posts highlight both his ongoing campaign efforts and opposition to current Democratic leadership in Congress.
