Rep. Joseph Chaplik, a Republican elected to the Arizona State House in 2023 to represent the state’s 3rd House District, has recently made several statements on his social media account addressing campaign endorsements and alleged misconduct by members of Congress.

On April 14, 2026, Chaplik commented on recent developments involving unnamed individuals, stating: “Not a moment too soon for this horrific person. When will his ā€œbest friendā€ Ruben do the right thing and follow suit?”

Two days later, on April 16, 2026, Chaplik announced an endorsement for his campaign: “Endorsement Alert Proud to announce the endorsement of Former National Boxing Champion, Conservative Activist and MAHA Advocate Hughie Johnston. Hughie made a great appearance at our event two weeks ago and his support has been a huge boost to this campaign.”

Later that same day, Chaplik addressed concerns about congressional conduct: “This is unacceptable. Horrendous and criminal behavior by members Congress should not be subsidized and then covered up. I will not tolerate this when the voters of CD1 send me to D.C.”

Chaplik began serving in the Arizona State House after replacing previous state representative Andres Cano in 2023.
