The Town of Paradise Valley announced on Feb. 23 that it is seeking residents to serve on its volunteer committees, commissions, and boards, with the application deadline for the 2026 appointment cycle now extended to March 20.
The extension gives more residents an opportunity to participate in local government and support various community initiatives. Volunteer service includes reviewing land-use applications and variances, organizing public art programs, preserving the town’s history, promoting public safety initiatives, and providing other essential support to the administration.
In addition to previously advertised vacancies on the Advisory Committee Public Safety, Paradise Valley Mountain Preserve Trust, and PV Arts Board, applications are also being accepted for other committees. A full list of available committees, their descriptions, time commitments, and recent activities can be found on the Town’s website.
Applications may be submitted online or by sending a resume and cover letter to the Town Clerk’s Office at 6401 E. Lincoln Drive. All applications received by March 20 will be considered for this year’s appointments. Those not selected will remain in a candidate pool for future vacancies throughout the year.
Applicants may indicate a committee preference but are not required to do so. In early April, candidates will have an opportunity to meet with the Town Council to discuss their background and interests in order to find a suitable placement that meets both individual skills and town needs.
According to the announcement, volunteering offers residents a chance to join a longstanding tradition of civic engagement in Paradise Valley while contributing meaningfully to preserving and enhancing the community.
