MentorKids USA is organizing the MK5K event, which includes a 10K, 5K, and Fun Run, scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026. The event will take place at Eldorado Park – East Ramada in Scottsdale. Funds raised from the race will go toward supporting free after-school programs in South Scottsdale that offer mentoring, academic support, and leadership development to local students.

The event check-in starts at 7:30 a.m., with the 10K beginning at 8:15 a.m., followed by the 5K at 8:30 a.m., and the Fun Run at 8:45 a.m. Those registering for the 10K or 5K will receive an event t-shirt, medal, and access to an after-party. Fun Run participants are also invited to the after-party. Children under age 18 can join the Fun Run with a “buddy” of any age who signs up at check-in; there is no extra charge for this option.

Participants can set up personal fundraising pages to collect donations from friends and family in support of their run and MentorKids USA’s student programs.

Local businesses are invited to consider sponsorship opportunities for the event.

Current registration fees are $60 for the 10K, $45 for the 5K, and $25 for the Fun Run. Prices will increase on February 1 and again on February 22 leading up to race day. Day-of registration will be available as well.
