Matt Gress, a Republican member of the Arizona State House representing the 4th District since 2023, has recently used his social media platform to comment on local education governance and recognize Veterans Day.
On November 11, 2025, Gress posted about efforts to recall members of a local school board: “RECALL ALERT
Tolleson Union School District community members submitted over 13,000 signatures to recall two school governing board members. That’s a buffer of more than 5K signatures.
It’s another sign that the community is fed up with the direction of this district.”
Later that day, Gress acknowledged the service of U.S. veterans in an additional post: “Today, we recognize the courage and service of America’s veterans.
Their commitment to duty and country preserves the freedoms we all cherish.
Thank you to every man and woman who has served.” This message coincided with Veterans Day commemorations nationwide.
On November 12, 2025, Gress expressed pride in his legislative district and its political organization: “Very proud! I live in the *BEST* legislative district in AZ! Great job @azgop_ld4!”
Gress was elected to represent Arizona’s 4th House District in 2023, succeeding Joel Joh. His recent posts highlight both ongoing political activity within his district and broader themes of public service recognition.
