Credit Union West has been recognized as a Top Workplace in Arizona for the 13th year in a row. The award, presented by Arizona Top Workplaces, is based on employee feedback about organizational respect, support, growth opportunities, and decision-making.

The Top Workplaces awards are determined through a third-party survey administered by Energage LLC. This survey collects feedback from employees to assess how well an organization embeds its mission and values into its culture and operations.

In addition to the main award, Credit Union West received a Culture Excellence award for its scores in Company Purpose and Values. This recognition highlights organizations that prioritize people in their policies.

Karen Roch, President and CEO of Credit Union West, stated: “Our employees’ feedback is an invaluable resource that truly helps us shape the culture at Credit Union West. We are honored to have earned this award based on our company culture, purpose, and values.”

Employee participation in the survey was high at 84%. Staff gave strong marks for the credit union’s values and direction and reported feeling their roles were meaningful.

Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage, commented: “Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees. That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”

Credit Union West was founded in 1951 as Luke Federal Credit Union at Luke Air Force Base with a mission focused on serving military members and their families. The credit union now serves over 90,000 members across multiple counties in Arizona with more than $1.3 billion in assets.
