Natalie Scherzer, a former Chaparral High School star now playing for the Vanguard Lions, is set to participate in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The Lions open the tournament as the No. 4 seed and face the fifth-seeded Cal State Los Angeles Golden Eagles in their first matchup.
The opening game is scheduled for Friday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Nicholson Arena.
