Harpist Jocelyn Obermeyer will join the group for several pieces. The event will also include the world premiere of Mary Ellen Loose’s commissioned composition, “Celestial Symphony,” which features both harp and baritone soloist. Other works on the program are “Glow” by Eric Whitacre and “O Magnum Mysterium” by Morten Lauridsen. Folk and traditional songs such as “A la Nanita Nana,” Hanukkah piece “Ocho Kandelikas,” “Star in the East,” and an Irish carol arranged by Arizona composer Linda Spevacek are also scheduled.

The first concert is set for Saturday, December 6 at 7:00 PM at Pinnacle Presbyterian Church Chapel, located at 25150 N. Pima Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85255. The second performance will be held Sunday, December 7 at 3:00 PM at Camelback Christian Church, 6235 E. Camelback Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251.
