New Mexico State Aggies, featuring former Saguaro High School standout Cade Shumard, dropped a 9-6 decision to the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders in their NCAA Division I baseball game at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 29.

The contest, hosted at Reese Smith Jr Field, marked the third meeting this season between the squads. Both teams have each logged a win in the current series.

Shumard entered for one inning on the mound and recorded one strikeout.

The Aggies will next face the Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens at Presley Askew Field on Thursday, April 2.
