On Friday, March 6, the NYU Violets, featuring former Phoenix Country Day High School standout Aila Kaibara, claimed a 108-44 victory over the UMaine Farmington Beavers in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup began at 7:45 p.m. at John A. Paulson Center and marked the first time the Violets faced the UMaine Farmington Beavers in the tournament.
NYU is set to return to John A. Paulson Center for its next game on Saturday, March 7, also scheduled for 7:45 p.m.
