Former Phoenix Country Day High School standout Aila Kaibara contributed to the NYU Violets’ 72-47 win over the UW La Crosse Eagles on Saturday, March 14, in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, which started at 7:30 p.m., was the NYU Violets’ first tournament contest against the UW La Crosse Eagles, held in the John A. Paulson Center.
The NYU Violets are scheduled to play again Thursday, March 19, at 7:30 p.m. at Cregger Center.
