Former Phoenix Country Day High School basketball standout Aila Kaibara and her collegiate team, the NYU Violets, were defeated 60-52 by the Scranton Lady Royals in the NCAA Division III Tournament on Thursday, March 19.

The matchup was held at the Cregger Center with tipoff at 7:30 p.m.
